The successful bidder must furnish and deliver one new, unused, current model enclosed trailer meeting detailed specifications: Wells Cargo Wagon HD WHD8528T3 or equal, with a GVWR between 9,500 and 9,999 lbs, payload capacity between 4,000 and 5,000 lbs, tandem Dexter torsion axles, surge disc brakes, LED lighting, interior desktop and shelving, and a 12-volt Marine/RV battery. The trailer must be delivered to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Fleet Management Unit at 1104 N. Eastern Avenue, Door #48, Los Angeles, CA 90063 within 180 days of award. The bidder must also provide two copies of the Maintenance Service Manual within 45 days of receipt of the Purchase Order, and vehicle registration must be done by the vendor in the name of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
