The selected vendor(s) will supply soil products including topsoil, soil mix (a blend of 50% cleaned screened top soil amended with Z-Best organic compost), and planter box mix to the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works and Parks and Recreation locations. The vendor may either allow Public Works' trucks to pick up the soil products at their place of business or deliver the products to fixed bunkers at Road Maintenance Division locations and other specified delivery sites. Freight charges are calculated based on one-way mileage from the vendor's place of business to the delivery location. The vendor must allow a minimum of 60 minutes of time, at no cost to the County, to off-load the material after arriving at the delivery location.
