The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit applications for two Contracts with agencies to provide coached monitored family time between parents and their children and safe family exchanges between parents who have difficulties when they contact each other.

The contractor will provide coached monitored family time between parents and their children and safe child custody exchanges between parents who have difficulties when they contact each other. Services must be available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. seven days a week, including certain County recognized holidays. The contractor must meet a minimum of 96 hours of coached monitored family time per month and facilitate a minimum of four safe child custody exchanges per month in their designated SPA. The contractor must also implement a Family Time Coaching Curriculum, provide initial training on topics such as child safety issues and mandated reporting, and conduct outreach to DCFS Regional Offices, domestic violence agencies, courts, and other stakeholders.
