Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their bids electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Bids (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile bids will not be considered.
Hand delivered bids may be received at the City Secretary Office, 1110 Houston St., 3rd. floor, Laredo, Texas 78040 until 5:00 P.M. on September 9, 2026, and all bids received will be opened and publicly acknowledged at 10:00 AM on September 10, 2026.
If hand delivered bids, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: IFB-2026-075 Laredo Police Department - Uniform Laundry Services and Non-Uniform Dry-Cleaning Services
The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors.
