Contractor shall properly plug, site remediate, and reclaim the orphan wells in compliance with KRS Chapter 353.562-564 and 805 KAR 1:060. Work includes plugging each well under direction of Division inspectors, removing aboveground flowlines and production infrastructure, plugging underground eliminated flowlines below grade, and reclaiming disturbed areas to achieve permanent vegetative cover and proper drainage. Contractor must also remove and properly dispose of tank bottom sludge materials after TENORM testing, remove oil/brine contaminated soil, and follow the detailed plugging procedures in Attachment K, including circulating cement plugs, stemming at operations for fresh water protection, and cutting casing 3 feet below surface.
