Contractor shall properly plug, site remediate, and reclaim the orphan wells identified in the package in compliance with KRS Chapter 353.562-564 and 805 KAR 1:060. Each well shall be plugged according to the attached plugging plan under Division inspectors direction. Contractor shall remove associated aboveground flowlines and production infrastructure at the wellsite; any underground flowlines not removed shall be plugged and cut off below grade. Disturbed areas shall be reclaimed to achieve permanent vegetative cover and proper site drainage with erosion control for one year before final acceptance. The work also includes constructing access roads, digging lined pits, extracting tubing and rods, cementing plugging across specified intervals, cutting casing 3 feet below surface, removing and disposing of fluids, and integrating best management practices for site drainage and erosion control. Additionally, contractor must test tanks for TENORM, dispose of contaminated soils, document waste disposal manifests, submit weekly reports, and provide measurements of wellhead gas emissions. All plugging activities must be performed with a service rig and work string of steel tubing; slickline plugging is not acceptable.
