The contract covers the purchasing or leasing of hardware and services for Network Infrastructure, including management software for operations, management, and monitoring of network performance, functionality, and security; warranties; installation services; and maintenance of ongoing programs and technical help. Products include E-Rate eligible items such as switches, routers, wireless access points, controllers, cables, basic firewalls, SD-WAN hardware, software licenses, installation, training, and maintenance support, as well as non-E-Rate eligible items like network access control, advanced firewalls, network monitoring, and traffic analysis. The contract also includes MIBS Functionality (integrated device capabilities) but not MIBS Services. Vendors must provide a single point of contact, adhere to delivery timelines, offer leasing options, and comply with extensive Commonwealth IT, security, and data privacy requirements.
