The vendor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, and supervision necessary for snow and ice management at the L&N Building in Louisville. Services include anti-icing pre-treatment, snow plowing, salt spreading, and manual clearing of pedestrian areas to maintain bare pavement or adequate traction on vehicle use areas (VUA) during state business hours (7am-5pm Monday through Friday, with some weekend and holiday exceptions). The vendor must monitor weather, maintain communication, provide storm logs, and respond to callbacks within 45 minutes. Equipment required includes minimum 3/4-ton 4WD trucks with plows and spreaders, and a 45 HP skid-steer loader. Salt (sodium chloride) must meet specified gradation standards.
