The annual inspection shall consist of AC Dielectric Testing (69 KV AC test for 180 seconds on the upper boom, 50 KV AC test for 180 seconds on the lower boom insulator, 35 KV AC test for 60 seconds on individual basket liner, 21 KV breakdown test on insulating oil, and bonding together all components in the upper boom) and Structural Analysis Test Program (magnetic particle testing on critical welded areas and ultrasonic sound testing on critical structural components). Written verification of compliance is required.
