The contractor must furnish and deliver 13.0 and 16.0 cubic yard stainless steel hopper spreaders with liquid calcium dispensers, designed for mounting on tandem and tri-axle dump trucks, respectively. Each spreader must be constructed of type 304 stainless steel, include dual augers, spinner assembly, feedgate control, lift hooks, dump body mounting, electric liquid de-icing dispenser, hold-downs, beacon lights, hydraulic hoses, and a leg stand. Optional items include offset chutes and tank upgrades to 230-gallon tanks. The contractor must also provide a percentage discount on manufacturer's list price for parts. All units must be delivered assembled and ready for installation, with operator's service and parts manuals, and warranted for one year against defective materials and workmanship.
