The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to construct the Russian Stotts Abandoned Mined Land (AML) project in Crawford County, KS
The work includes site preparation and clearing (6.3 acres), earthwork (approx. 48,219 CY cut/fill), installation of riprap (KDOT Light 24", KDOT Light 18", D50 6"), clean stone, AB-3, fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium), lime/mulch, native grass seeding, post-construction sediment controls (compost filter sock), culvert pipe (36" and 24" PP), barbed wire fencing (850 LF), and swing gates. The project also includes mobilization, construction entrances, rock toe/fill, boulder barricades, drainage structures, erosion control measures, seedbed preparation, and final seeding. The contract is a lump sum bid with a schedule of values for unit prices.
