The successful bidder shall remove the structure located at 93 S State Road, Lake View, IA 51450 and clear the site free of debris in an orderly fashion by May 31, 2027. The bidder must obtain all necessary permits including a Sovereign Lands Permit, conduct site inspection including examination of obstacles and working conditions, arrange for tree removal or trimming only with DNR staff approval, and dispose of all solid waste at a permitted sanitary landfill. The bidder assumes risk of loss to the structure upon notification of bid acceptance and must indemnify and hold harmless the state of Iowa from any injury or damage to persons or property arising from the removal work.
