The work involves small structure replacement at two locations: CV 421-046-227.00 (culvert 1900028) on US 421 over the East Arm Little Calumet River, 3.22 miles south of I-94, and CV 421-046-229.10 (culvert 1900029) on US 421 over the West Branch Trail Creek, 1.2 miles south of I-94. The scope includes construction engineering, mobilization and demobilization, clearing right-of-way, pump around, stormwater management, wet excavation, subgrade treatment, structure backfill, geotextile, compacted aggregate, widening with HMA, asphalt milling, QC/QA HMA, joint adhesive, guardrail removal and installation, guardrail end treatments, impact attenuators, milled HMA corrugations, riprap, seeding and sodding, field office, temporary shoring, reinforced concrete moment slab, concrete bridge railing, waterproofing membrane, reinforced concrete box sections, pipe, temporary pavement markings, construction signs, maintaining traffic, energy absorbing terminals, barricades, temporary traffic barriers, portable signal, driveway assistance device, reference posts, line removal, and pavement markings.
