RFQ# 003000000088285 300 FW Roush Fish and Wildlife Area 4-year Concession Contract for Shooting Range This request to lease the Roush Lake Shooting Range for a duration of 4 years. The vendor would operate the Roush Lake Shooting Range located at 1002 E. Division Road, Huntington, IN 46750. The vendor would be responsible for, but not limited to, providing the Range Safety Officer staffing and overseeing safe shooting operations at the range.

This bid is not eligible for electronic bid through the Supplier Portal. To allow for sufficient processing time in compliance with Indiana State law, all quoted prices offered to the State under this Event must be valid for thirty (30) calendar days after the Response Due By date/time. Pricing must include all applicable charges, fees, and shipping.
The Contractor has the right to operate the Concession and collect fees from guests for use of the rifle, pistol, and shotgun ranges. The Contractor has the right to sell items that relate to shooting sports, outdoor activities, and consumables, such as targets, hearing protection, ammo, firearms, bug spray, sunscreen, bait, and snacks. The contractor also has the right to rent items for shooting sports and outdoor activities, such as lead sleds, spotting scopes, and firearms. The Contractor must submit a schedule of promotional and training events at least one month prior to the event or promotion. The Contractor shall keep record of the number of users for the firearm range, number of rounds fired per user for the rifle, pistol, and shotgun range during one weekend each month, and monthly gross income. The Contractor shall retain a NRA Range Safety Officer Certification. All employees supervising the firing line must also have the NRA Range Safety Officer Certification. The contractor shall pay for trash removal and internet utilities. The contractor can sell food items within the concession area, but food must be consumed outside of the fenced pistol and rifle range area.
