The City of Houston is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive
real-time stenographic closed captioning services for live broadcasts, recorded programs, and postproduction
content produced by various City departments. The selected vendor(s) shall furnish all labor,
management, supervision, equipment, modern software, supplies, and technical expertise necessary to
deliver accurate, timely, and compliant closed captioning services in accordance with federal accessibility
standards, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. This is for a three (3) year contract with two (2)
one (1) year renewal options.
