This email and the attached Request for Quali:ications and Price Proposal (“RFQ/P”) concerns the
following project being commissioned by the Pickens County Government (“Pickens County”) under
the direction of the Board of Commissioners of Pickens County, Georgia (“BOC”) and its Chairman:
Construction Management at Risk Services for the Tax Commissioner Building Construction Project
Pickens County is seeking proposals from quali:ied Proposing Firms for the performance of
construction management at risk services (“CMAR Services”) for the Tax Commissioner Building
Construction Project (“Project”), which will constitute the construction of a new building to house
the of:ices of the Pickens County Tax Commission.
The Project will be comprised of a Preconstruction Phase and a Construction Phase.
The successful Proposing Firm will serve as Construction Manager (“CM”) for the Project and, as
such, will perform CMAR Services during the Project. In this regard, the CM will work with Pickens
County and the Project Architect in a prescribed manner on:
Project planning
Project estimating
Value engineering
Arranging proposal packages
Awarding individual trade contracts and soliciting prior proposals related thereto
Managing construction until full occupancy is achieved
