The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified
suppliers for the Purchase of Traffic Control Signs, Street Name Signs and U-Channel Posts on an Annual
Contract for the Department of Transportation.
Bids should be typed or submitted in ink and returned in a sealed container marked on the outside with the
BL# and Company Name. Bids will be received until 2:50 P.M. local time on October 15, 2026 at the
Gwinnett County Financial Services - Purchasing Division – 2nd Floor, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville,
Georgia 30046. Any bid received after this date and time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened
and read at 3:00 P.M.

are legal and binding upon the vendor when submitted. All bids should be submitted in duplicate.

The contract covers the supply of traffic control and street name signage in multiple categories: U-channel sign posts (12 ft, 14 ft, 10 ft × 1.75 inch, and 12 ft × 2 inch variants); finished aluminum dead-end and no-outlet sign blades with high intensity prismatic sheeting; aluminum sign blanks in various sizes (12×12 through 48×72 inches); aluminum street name sign blanks (9×36 through 12×54 inches); rolled goods including 3M reflective sheeting and films; finished traffic control signs with high intensity prismatic Type IV sheeting in various MUTCD designs (stop, yield, speed limit, turn arrows, warning signs, etc.); finished construction signs with diamond grade fluorescent orange sheeting; finished traffic control signs with diamond grade fluorescent yellow-green sheeting (school zone and pedestrian crossing signs); and multicolor digital printed overhead street name signs with and without logos on diamond grade DG3 sheeting (one-sided and two-sided variants in sizes 18×60 through 24×120 inches). All products must conform to Georgia DOT specifications, MUTCD standards, and FHWA guidelines. Orders are placed on an as-needed basis with delivery F.O.B. pre-paid to Gwinnett County Transportation, 620 Winder Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30045. Deliveries must be scheduled 24 hours in advance and are accepted 8:00 am–2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
