Sealed Bids will be received from bidders by the Gwinnett County Board of Education,
53 Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, Bldg. "C" Conference Room: The
furnishing of all labor, materials, and services necessary to perform the construction of
the following projects: PHOENIX HIGH SCHOOL HVAC MODIFICATIONS
BUILDING 5010, 501 WEST PIKE STREET, LAWRENCEVILLE, GA 30046
until Thursday, October 8, 2026, 3:00 p.m. Bids will be opened publicly and will be
read aloud at the time and place stated above. Fax transmittals and E-mails of Bid
Proposal Form shall not be accepted by the Owner. Bids received after the above time
is called will not be accepted. No phones will be available.
All bidders must submit AIA Document A305-2020 Contractor’s Qualifications
Statement to be evaluated by the Owner and Architect prior to being issued plans and
specifications. Bidders who do not submit the A305 Statement will be subject to
disqualification. The A305 must show the Contractor’s ability to complete the Contract
in a satisfactory manner on projects of similar scope and complexity. References from
past clients and projects must be included and will be verified. General Contractor’s
main office where work for this project will be completed shall be a permanent office
located in the state of Georgia within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of the project site.
This office shall have been in existence for no less than ten (10) years.
The work involves the furnishing of all labor, materials, and services necessary to perform the construction of HVAC modifications at Phoenix High School Building 5010 and ITC/Lawrenceville West, located at 501 West Pike Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The project includes a mandatory pre-bid conference, and the contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, and construction must be substantially complete by July 23, 2027.
