after the designated time will not be considered. The OWNER of the project is City of Griffin. The
ENGINEER for the project is LJA Engineering, Inc.
The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows:
This sewer system rehabilitation project includes approximately 6,865 linear feet of cured-in-place
pipe (CIPP) lining of existing gravity sewer mainlines composed of vitrified clay, concrete, and HDPE
pipe. The project also includes repairs to approximately 177 service laterals. Manhole rehabilitation
encompasses approximately 263 vertical feet of lining within predominantly brick manholes,
ranging from full manhole lining to localized repairs, grouting, and rehabilitation of benches and
inverts. This work is intended to reduce infiltration and inflow, restore structural integrity, and
extend the service life of the existing wastewater collection system.
Bidding Documents/Project Manual must be obtained by prospective Bidders at the Issuing Office:
LJA Engineering, Inc., 350 Airport Road, Griffin, Georgia 30224, 770-412-7700.
In order to obtain a complete hard copy set of the Bidding Documents/Project Manual and be on
record as an Official Bidder prospective Bidder shall provide a copy of current Utility Contractor
License as issued by the State of Georgia together with non-refundable payment of $300.00.
