Elevator Maintenance and Repairs Services – Annual Contract
Henry County Government is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide maintenance services to eighteen (18) elevators located at various County locations. The services will be performed on a regular and systematic schedule. The County reserves the right to add or delete locations during the course of the contract The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this solicitation.
RFP's will be accepted until 3:00 PM local time on October 6, 2026. Late RFP's will not be considered nor returned. RFP's submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person will be received by Henry County, Purchasing Department, located at 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Electronic RFP's are to be submitted through the County's eProcurement Portal at (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/henryga). Emailed or faxed RFP's will not be considered.
RFP's may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.

Deadline for requests for clarifications and questions. Any possible exceptions to
the bid specifications and/or terms and conditions should be addressed during
this phase. These requests will be answered in an addendum and must be submitted
through the County’s eProcurement Portal at:

Sealed proposals will be accepted until the due date and time. Any late submittals
received will not be considered. Submittals may be delivered by mail, common
carrier, or in person to Henry County Purchasing Department, 140 Henry Parkway,
McDonough, GA 30253.
The contractor shall furnish all supplies, parts, components, materials, maintenance service vehicles, labor, labor supervision, tools, test equipment, special equipment and lubricants necessary to provide full preventive maintenance, adjustment, replacement and repair service for the complete Vertical Transportation System. Services include weekly/biweekly inspections, emergency callback service within 30 minutes during regular hours and 60 minutes during overtime, and renovation/upgrade/replacement work if requested. The contractor must assign a minimum of 2 Class 1 elevator mechanics certified by the Georgia Department of Labor, located within 15 miles of the Henry County Government Administration building. The contractor must also provide drug test certification and maintain specified insurance coverages.
