Any bids received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by Owner. Bids will be publicly opened and only the names of the respondents will be read aloud at 2:10 p.m. local time on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the of Social Circle City Hall, 166 North Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025. All bids will be evaluated by the City of Social Circle and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 45 days of the bid opening.

CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS quoting on this Project will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws.
The City of Social Circle reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of Social Circle.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with the City of Social Circle named as additional insured.
