The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Aviation (DOA), anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal
(RFP) for Grease Interceptor Maintenance, Cleaning and Inspection Services at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta
International Airport (H-JAIA). The City is seeking qualified contractors with demonstrated experience providing
comprehensive grease interceptor maintenance, cleaning, inspection, waste removal and disposal, corrective
maintenance, and related services within large, complex facilities. The City's expectation is that the selected
Contractor will provide reliable preventive and corrective maintenance services necessary to maintain grease
interceptor systems in proper operating condition, support regulatory compliance, and minimize disruptions to
airport, concession, and passenger operations. At contract inception, services are anticipated to cover sixty-nine (69) grease interceptors, with the total inventory expected to increase to seventy-six (76) during the contract term. Services are expected to include routine pump-outs, pressure washing, piping jetting, system inspections, waste disposal, corrective maintenance, emergency response, and required maintenance reporting. Interested Vendors are encouraged to review the preliminary scope of work and evaluate their ability to meet the City's anticipated operational, staffing, equipment, safety, airport access, and service requirements. The City also encourages participation from vendors capable of supporting scheduled maintenance activities and emergency response requirements within an active airport environment. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide additional information regarding the project, discuss the City's expectations, and provide Interested Vendors an opportunity to ask questions and better understand the anticipated requirements. We hope to see you there.
The contractor will perform comprehensive maintenance of all grease interceptors located within H-JAIA's Central Terminal Passenger Complex, including routine pump-outs, pressure washing, piping jetting, system inspections, waste disposal, corrective maintenance, emergency response, and required maintenance reporting. Services cover sixty-nine (69) grease interceptors initially, increasing to seventy-six (76) over the 5-year contract term. The contractor must coordinate scheduling with DOA Concessions and Asset Management, maintain records, submit monthly and annual reports, and comply with all airport security and safety requirements.

A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
