will soon advertise a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified Design Build firms to deliver the Grove Park
Recreation Center Replacement Project. Interested firms will be evaluated based on demonstrated experience,
technical capability, ability to meet schedule requirements, and capacity to manage multidisciplinary design"build
delivery. The City's expectation is that the selected Design"Build team will be responsible for comprehensive
project execution encompassing design, permitting, engineering, construction, quality assurance, and facility
turnover. A Pre"Solicitation Conference will be announced to provide additional project clarity and address vendor
questions regarding criteria, deliverables, and expectations.

THIS CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT, RFP-_________________________ (this “Agreement”)
between the City of Atlanta (the “City”), a Georgia Municipal Corporation, and
_______________________ (“Contractor”) is entered into and effective on this ____ day of

The successful Design/Builder will design and construct the Grove Park Recreation Center Replacement Project. The scope includes conducting community engagement meetings, completing detailed design in accordance with the Design Criteria, pre-construction engineering and permitting, site inspection, demolition and site preparation, utility relocation, procurement of all work and materials, design and project management, subcontractor coordination, materials staging, site access management, independent testing and inspection, cost estimation and scheduling, construction, quality assurance and control, and turnover of facilities and systems including warranties and training. The project includes a new recreation center with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, a gymnasium with telescoping basketball goals and an elevated running track, a passenger elevator, public address system, access control, video surveillance, and FF&E.
