to the specific requirements set forth in this request for proposals ("RFP'). The expected start

MICROGRID SYSTEM AND DC FAST CHARGER
Decatur Police Department
The City of Decatur, Georgia (“City”) will receive sealed proposals from qualified firms
for design and engineering services of a microgrid system in the City Manager’s Office, 509
North McDonough Street, Decatur, Georgia 30030 until 2 p.m. time on October 13, 2026. The
City is seeking the services of a qualified firm for design, engineering and construction
administration services for a microgrid system at the Decatur Police Department located at 420
West Trinity Place, Decatur, Georgia 30030.

Funding is to be provided by the City of Decatur and funds from a Department of
Energy grant. Firms or teams will be required to comply with all applicable regulations of
the City of Decatur, State of Georgia and United States Department of Energy.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference and site walkthrough will be held at the Police
Department, located at 420 West Trinity Street, Decatur, GA 30030, on Monday, September 21,
2026 at 1:30p.m.
