The County is seeking Debris Removal Services for Clayton County, Georgia as specified in this RFP and Attachment A, Scope of Services (SOS), attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
The contractor must furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and administrative costs necessary to perform debris removal. Work includes emergency road clearance (push), debris removal from public rights-of-way and private property, demolition of structures, removal of hazardous trees and limbs, household hazardous waste, abandoned vehicles, white goods, e-waste, dead animal carcasses, and hazardous tree stumps. The contractor must also operate Temporary Debris Staging and Reduction Sites (TDSRS), including site preparation, traffic control, segregation, reduction (grinding/chipping/burning), and final disposal. The contractor must provide documentation and assist the Debris Monitoring Consultant with FEMA-required recordkeeping. The contractor must mobilize within 24 hours of notification (6 hours for imminent life-safety threats) and complete services in less than 120 days when possible.
