Camden County Board of Commissioners is currently seeking competitive proposals from qualified firms to provide Residential Curbside Solid Waste and Recyclable Collection Services in accordance with this Request for Proposal. Competitive sealed proposals will be received by the Camden County purchasing office.
Sealed proposals must be received at the office of the Purchasing Officer, P.O. Box 99, 200 East 4th Street, Woodbine, GA 31569 no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, referencing RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLE COLLECTION SERVICES - PROPOSAL #P27-1565-03, at which time they will be opened and proposers name publicly read. No bid shall be withdrawn after the closing time for a period of ninety (90) days.
Digital Proposal Documents will be available for download on the Camden County website Purchasing Page www.camdencountyga.gov after 8am on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Notice to Proposers
The Camden County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Solid
Waste and Recyclable Material Collection Services for unincorporated Camden County. Solid Waste
collection is mandatory for all residential customers.
SUBMISSION: One (1) original and four (4) copies of required proposal document must be
submitted in a sealed envelope marked “CAMDEN COUNTY CURBSIDE WASTE AND RECYCABLE
SERVICES- Proposal #P27-208-03”, mailed or dropped off at the address below.

The contractor will provide weekly curbside collection of solid waste from approximately 5,400 residential units using 96-gallon wheeled carts, delivering all solid waste to the MSW Landfill at 5395 Highway 110, Folkston, Georgia. The contractor will also provide weekly curbside collection of single-stream recyclable materials (glass, aluminum, steel, HDPE and PET plastic containers, newspapers, magazines, and corrugated cardboard) to residential customers who subscribe to the County's optional recycling program. Bulky item collection will be provided upon customer request within ten days. The contractor must maintain separate customer records, provide customer service, and submit monthly reports on tonnage, complaints, and customer counts. The contractor will also provide collection services to County buildings and facilities at no additional cost.
