The project consists of replacing 21 irrigation valves at the Holland Youth Sports Complex.
The estimated range of this project is $50,000 - $60,000.

The written specifications contained in this bid shall not be changed or superseded except by written addendum
from the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County Purchasing Division of the Finance Department.
Failure to comply with the written specifications for this bid may result in rejection of the bid by the Unified

The contractor must provide and install 21 new ICV valves (3-inch glass-filled nylon globe/angle valves with flow control and DC latching solenoid), tested with manual turn-on, at a depth of 1.5 to 2 feet below finished grade. Valve boxes shall be NDS Pro Spec Series sized either 17" x 30" or 13" x 24" with pull-top lids, combined into single boxes where valves are within 2.5 feet of each other. A minimum of 3 inches of compacted gravel base must be installed beneath each valve for drainage, and boxes must be installed flush with finished grade with lids aligned for safe maintenance access.
