SERVER BACKUP SERVICES
GENERAL SCOPE The Chatham County-Savannah Metropolitan Planning
Commission (MPC) is requesting proposals from
qualified firms to assess, design, implement, document,
monitor, and support a reliable backup and recovery
solution for 25 production and/or business-critical
servers. The solution must include local and secure off-
premises backup capabilities, protect covered
workloads and Microsoft 365 data, provide
documented recovery procedures, and support agreed
recovery, security, reporting, and administrative
requirements.
DUE DATE October 01, 2026 at 3 p.m.
Proposals must be received and date/time stamped on or
before the due date by MPC at 110 East State Street,
Savannah, Georgia 31401. Late submissions shall not be
accepted.

The selected Proposer will design, implement, monitor, and support a backup solution for 25 production and/or business-critical servers, including local and secure off-premises backup capabilities, protection of covered workloads and Microsoft 365 data, documented recovery procedures, and support for agreed recovery, security, reporting, and administrative requirements. The solution must include encryption, access controls, monitoring, ransomware-resilient safeguards, and periodic restore testing. The Proposer will also provide implementation documentation, system design documentation, reports, administrator training, and knowledge transfer.
