REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) # FY27-002
Drew Charter School is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to design and install a retaining
wall system to prevent hill erosion along the main drive at Charles R. Drew Charter School EA/Yates
Campus, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for
Proposals (RFP) # FY27-002. Unless otherwise noted, Proposers must provide a proposal for all
requirements stated within this request. Interested vendors must be able to commit the resources
necessary to provide services and conform to the material aspects of the scope required. To be
considered valid in the selection process, all proposals must follow the critical dates, as set forth
below:
Critical Dates:
The selected vendor must provide all labor, machinery, licensing, insurance, permitting, materials, and freight required to complete the following: install a modular block retaining wall approximately 100 linear feet and 30 inches in height on the interior side of the east property line; install a permanent hardscape seat wall; excavate and grade a swale and install a dry creek bed with rock aggregate and sub-surface drainage; install plant material, ground cover with pine straw, and mature Holly bushes as a traffic management barrier; audit, repair, and modify the existing campus irrigation system; lower the grade of the beauty strip; install premium Bermuda Sod over all graded or disrupted lawn areas; and absorb all freight, delivery, hauling, and disposal fees. Daily debris removal and continuous cleanup are mandatory.
