INVITATION TO BID
The Owner will receive sealed bids from Contractors in Room #249 of University Hall, 2500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904, as
shown on construction documents, drawing number G0.1 Bids must be physically on the table in the Bid Room by 9 o’clock, at
the time legally prevailing in Augusta, Georgia on September 29, 2026, for the construction of Project #25-117- AU-SC ANIMATION
LAB, located on Summerville Campus of AUGUSTA UNIVERSITY, AUGUSTA, Georgia. At the time and place noted above, the bids will
be publicly opened and announced.
Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of the Design Professional, 2KM Architects Inc, Phone: 706-736-3333.
Applications for documents, together with deposit of $ 125 per set, should be filed promptly with the Design Professional.
Bidders are cautioned that acquisition of Bidding Documents through any source other than the office of the Design Professional
is not advisable. Acquisition of Bidding Documents from unauthorized sources places the bidder at risk of receiving incomplete
or inaccurate information upon which to base a bid.
The Design Professional will send the Bidding Documents, shipping charges collect, as soon as possible after receipt of application
and deposit. The full amount of the deposit for one set of Bidding Documents will be refunded upon return of such set in good
condition within thirty days after opening of bids. One-half of all other deposits for additional sets of Bidding Documents will be
refunded upon return of these additional documents, complete and in good condition, within thirty days after opening of bids.
"Good condition" is defined to require that documents will not have been taken apart or marked in a manner that limits their re-use
for construction.

The scope includes architectural finishes, changes to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection to accommodate the new design. Means of egress are not affected. The work area is 956 SF. Specific work includes demolition of existing finishes, installation of new sound-attenuating gypsum board walls, new flooring, ceiling, and base, reworking the sprinkler system, modifying HVAC terminal units and ductwork, and installing new lighting, power, data, and fire alarm devices.
