1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 The Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) is seeking qualified vendors to provide quotes for
the procurement of two (2) adjustable winged snowplow assemblies and two (2)
corresponding truck-specific mounting systems.
1.2 The plows should be designed for installation on two (2) 2022 Ford F-650 trucks and will
feature a heavy-duty steel moldboard with expandable wings capable of providing variable
blade widths ranging from 8 ft. 6 in. to 11 ft. The plows should be capable of operating in
straight, angled, and scoop configurations.
The vendor must supply two adjustable winged snowplow assemblies with heavy-duty steel moldboard, expandable wings (8 ft. 6 in. to 11 ft.), four trip springs, eight structural reinforcement ribs, one lift cylinder (1¾ in. × 8 in.), two hydraulic angling rams (1½ in. × 10 in.), an FAA-approved non-metallic cutting edge, and a complete lighting system with dual LED headlamps, turn signals, parking lights, and weather-sealed housings. Also supply two complete UltraMount® 2-compatible mounting systems specifically configured for 2022 Ford F-650 trucks, including vehicle-specific brackets, fasteners, wiring harnesses, lighting interface components, and hydraulic connections. The equipment must be brand new, comply with all applicable State and Federal safety and emissions regulations, and be delivered to 640 Gulfstream Road, Savannah, GA 31408. The vendor must provide parts manuals, shop repair manuals, operator's manuals, and a factory-recommended preventive maintenance schedule. The Commission may request onsite training upon delivery.
