1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 The Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) is seeking qualified vendors to provide quotes for
the procurement of one (1) Mini-Sweeper with a vacuum. The purpose of these
specifications is to outline the requirements for the Mini-Sweeper for use by the Savannah
Airport Commission. The unit provided will be brand new, with no prior use or repair, and
must include all standard interior and exterior features and appointments listed by the
original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
The Savannah Airport Commission requires one (1) new Mini-Sweeper with vacuum that meets or exceeds detailed specifications for a compact sweeper suitable for airport parking lots, roadways, garages, curbs, and paved surfaces. The unit must be brand new, of the latest model, with no prior use or repair, and include all standard OEM features. Minimum specifications include: 7 ft height, 4-6 ft width, gas/diesel engine, hydrostatic transmission, enclosed cab with A/C and heat, minimum sweeping width of 7 ft, adjustable brushes, minimum 1.5 cubic yard hopper with hydraulic dump, minimum 50-gallon water tank with dust suppression spray system, ROPS/FOPS-compliant cab, backup camera, LED work lights, and a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty. The successful bidder must provide parts and service support within a 30-mile radius of Savannah, Georgia, and deliver the unit to 640 Gulfstream Road, Savannah, GA 31408. The bidder must also supply 4 sets of keys with FOBS, two copies of parts and service manuals, and provide operator training at no additional charge.
