Maintenance and support of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s (FDLE) Forensic Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that provides evidence tracking, inventory, and auditing capabilities. This system accommodates multi-discipline services, including but not limited to Biology, Firearms, Chemistry and Toxicology. The current LIMS was acquired through competitive solicitation (RFP B1011) from Porter Lee Corporation in 2007 and is an essential element in maintaining FDLE Regional laboratories forensic accreditation standards.
Since initial implementation, FDLE has acquired additional modules for the LIMS system, including the investigation’s Evidence Management System, Radio Frequency Identification System, .Net LIMS System, Toxicology Automation Module, Prelog v2, Android Software for Custody Transfer and Inventory Modules, as well as the Biology Automation Module. The purpose of this single source request is to request that FDLE continues to receive system maintenance and support services required for FDLE’s existing Laboratory Information Management System and Evidence Management System, Radio Frequency Identification System, Criminal Evidence Intake Module, .Net LIMS System, Toxicology Automation Module, Prelog v2, Android Software for Custody Transfer and Inventory Modules, and Biology Automation Module. This system maintenance is critical to ensure that FDLE continues to meet business needs and national forensic laboratory standards.

Most Florida work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
