This project will construct a parapet wall with simulated stone masonry, at the back of the sidewalk on Congress Avenue to help prevent cars from going over the wall onto lower Washington Avenue, and to protect pedestrians. Install black metal hand-railings, replace 3 sets of granite steps with new concrete steps, replace the
concrete ramp, widen the concrete sidewalk and miscellaneous roadway reconstruction. There will be a Mandatory Information Session with respect to this RFP on August 31, 2026 at 10 AM on-site at the intersection of Congress Ave and Washington Ave, Waterbury, CT.
