The purpose of this request is to obtain proposals from qualified contractors to provide routine maintenance,
emergency services, and non-maintenance services associated with properties, buildings, facilities, and
infrastructure owned and operated by San Jose State University. The scope of this request is specific to Tree
Maintenance services. The University anticipates entering five (5) agreements for a three (3) year term, with the
possibility of two (2) one-year extensions. The service amount to be expended per agreement under this
solicitation will be One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($1,500,000.00).

The contractor will provide routine maintenance, emergency services, and non-maintenance services associated with properties, buildings, facilities, and infrastructure owned and operated by San Jose State University, specifically for Tree Maintenance services.
