California Gulch Groundwater Monitoring
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit responses from qualified Offerors to provide technical support of activities at the California Gulch Superfund Site. The activities will include support services for monitoring and assessing groundwater conditions across CalGulch. Sole point of contact for this solicitation is Kristi Gamble, Purchasing Agent, e-mail at Kristi.gamble@state.co.us.
The successful offeror will provide groundwater monitoring, monitor mine pool and groundwater conditions required by the OU 12 Record of Decision, and maintain the existing groundwater monitoring network and early alert system. Tasks include maintaining and operating continuous monitoring equipment including transducers and water level meters, downloading continuous groundwater level data quarterly, providing quarterly groundwater level reports, updating the California Gulch website at calforniagulch.us, maintaining the satellite data agreement, maintaining the Early Alert System at LDT36+77 and LDT46+66, attending a kickoff meeting within 60 days of execution, and providing recommendations for improvement of the monitoring program.
Most Colorado work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
