Health Equity Technical Assistance
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit responses from qualified Offerors to provide culturally competent workforce development for local public health agencies (LPHAs) and community-based organization (CBO) grantees, build statewide knowledge and capacity to reduce health disparities for a stronger Colorado, build and share power with communities, and incorporate core elements of equitable implementation. This project will center on reducing health disparities and advancing health for populations that experience higher disease burden. By delivering training and technical assistance to STEPPs LPHA and CBO grantees, this project will develop the training, tools, and resources needed to center the voice and leadership of communities and community-based organizations, prioritizing community assets, strengths, and resilience. The successful Offeror will provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to STEPP local public health agencies and community-based organization grantees. This includes drafting a project plan, complying with STEPP onboarding, providing both group training and tailored 1:1 technical assistance, facilitating quarterly Learning Community Calls, managing and hosting the Practicing Cultural Humility online series, completing an evaluation plan, providing a minimum of one article quarterly for the STEPP newsletter, and participating in STEPP meetings. The contractor will also develop educational resources, maintain a TA Tracking Log, and collaborate with other STEPP TA providers.
