The project involves replacing the obsolete Siemens MXLQ fire alarm system with a new networked addressable fire alarm system throughout the facility. It also includes restoring the fire-protection water supply to each of the two living units at the site, which are currently served by the potable water supply. The current fire pump installation is being modified to redirect the cooling system's water supply from the fire protection water supply to the potable water supply. Additionally, monitoring devices for the sprinkler system in the fire pump building will be added. The scope of services will include full Construction Contracting Services for the project specified during the process of construction and warranty period to the State.
