The awarded bidder will provide all necessary chemicals, materials, equipment, testing supplies, and tools to perform on-site boiler water treatment services at Fremont Correctional Facility. Services include maintaining water chemical levels for steam boiler, condenser, condensate, cooling tower, and chiller water; implementing a treatment program to protect boilers from scale and corrosion; monthly testing and adjustment of water chemistry; inspection of boiler functions and controls; consulting with facility staff; and providing technical guidance and training. The bidder must respond within 24 hours for urgent or emergency service calls. The facility has three Cleaver-Brooks boilers (models CBLE 200-600-150ST, CBEX-DE 200-400-150ST, and CBCW 2006-00150) with natural gas and oil firing capabilities.
