Boiler Chemicals & Treatment at DWCF/DRDC - Documented Quote
The awarded bidder will provide all necessary chemicals, materials, equipment, testing supplies, and tools to perform on-site boiler water treatment services. Services include maintaining appropriate water chemical levels for optimal performance of steam boiler systems, condensers, condensate, and chiller water; implementing a treatment program to protect boilers from scale and corrosion; monthly testing of water chemical composition; adding or adjusting water concentration levels; inspecting boiler functions and controls; consulting with facility staff; providing technical guidance and support; and making recommendations for system care. The bidder must also provide formal training on chemical handling, installation, care, maintenance, testing, and operation of water treatment systems. Services are to be performed one day per month, with additional calls for testing and treatment as requested, and urgent service calls must be responded to within 24 hours.
