The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, hardware and materials for repairs at the Town Pier located at 34 Washington Street in Nantucket Harbor. The base bid includes timber repairs to the breakwater and pier. Bid Alternate #1 includes transportation and installation of two replacement concrete floats that have been procured by the Owner and stored in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Contractor shall also remove two existing temporary wooden floats and install the new concrete floats. The project also includes selective demolition, structural steel work, timber construction, and electrical work.
