272471340130 College and University Tobacco/Nicotine Action Initiative
Selected schools will engage students and work with MTCP to implement activities designed to increase awareness of and connect students to cessation resources, and create and promote prevention resources that are relevant, accessible, and responsive to the needs of young adults. Funding falls into three core categories: infrastructure for campuses with health centers providing cessation services; infrastructure for campuses without health centers providing prevention and referral services; and concrete supports for students engaged in those activities. Awardees must meet monthly with MTCP staff, submit an annual workplan, attend a two-day Racial Equity/Groundwater Training, provide aggregated surveillance data, submit quarterly invoices, and comply with various state policies.
