The City of China Grove is seeking bids for the proposed mill and overlay and base repair on 2 sides: Tree Bend and Oma Dr. The work, in general, consists of excavating 2 inches of existing pavement and replacing with 2 inches of HMA TY D asphalt at Tree Bend, and excavating 7 inches of existing material and replacing with 5 inches of HMA TY B asphalt and 2 inches of HMA TY D asphalt at Oma Dr. The required site work including prime coat, salvaging, hauling, stockpiling, reclaiming asphalt, and rolling/compacting is expected as common practice. Contractor must begin with within 30 days of receipt of notification to proceed. The project is to be completed in full within 30 calendar days after work begins.
