Mexichem Fluor Inc. (MFI) is working under Department of Energy Grant DE-MS0000009 to design, engineer, plan and build a Lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) plant in Louisiana, United States of America.
MFI intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) for two (2) Conical hopper blenders with an internal ribbon-type agitator to mix LiPF6 for consistency.
RFQ is expected to be released on-or-about October 27, 2026.
Proposal evaluation factors will include technical, commercial, and governmental compliance, as well as past relevant experience, supplier qualifications and compliance with submittal requirements.
Potential bidders will need to have executed non-disclosure agreements, be successfully registered in good standing with SAM.gov, and approved by technology licensor within the 30-day Open Advertisement duration, prior to receiving bid documents.
