The Commissioning Agent (FCxA) will review engineering documents prepared by the Fire Alarm Engineering Consultant, perform all pre-testing and final commissioning activities using NFPA commissioning guidelines, and deliver all relevant documentation to CHA upon completion. The work covers eight senior buildings with specific fire alarm panel models. The FCxA will conduct commissioning activities to individual components and the system to ensure full integration and communication with CHA and the City of Chicago Fire Department.

Most Illinois work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
