Centralia Correctional Center is seeking to procure various textile materials, including white broadcloth, black ripstop, white poplin, emerald green denier nylon, Dacron batting, cotton duck, polyester mesh, and vinyl ticking. These materials will be used to produce clothing, blankets, and shower curtains for individuals in custody throughout the state, as well as mail bags for use at correctional facilities. The materials will also be used to manufacture shirts and pants for officers.
The vendor shall provide raw materials for the facility's ICI program: White Broadcloth (75,000 yards), Black Ripstop Fabric (15,000 yards), White Poplin Fabric (10,000 yards), Emerald Green 1000 Denier Nylon (5,000 yards), Dacron Batting (1 oz, 36-inch wide, 75-foot rolls), #10 Duck Cotton Fabric (5,000 yards), Polyester Mesh 60" (1,000 yards), and 54" Tan Vinyl Ticking (10,000 yards). Materials must meet detailed specifications for weight, fiber content, thread count, color (Pantone references), and performance standards. A sample of fabric must be sent by the vendor to IDOC and approved before shipment of the entire order. Delivery shall be made no later than June 30, 2027, F.O.B. Destination to Centralia Correctional Center, 9330 Shattuc Rd, Centralia, IL 62801.
