To establish a contract for repair and inspection for the kitchen appliances at the Governors Mansion located at 410 E Jackson St, Springfield, IL 62701.
Pre-Bid Conference: There will be a mandatory Walk-through for bidders to assess the areas to be covered under the contract. Please see the Walk-Through Instructions attached in the solicitation for date and time
Vendor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to provide a high-quality preventive maintenance program including inspections, repairs, maintenance, and emergency repairs for all refrigerators, walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers, ice machines, dishwashers, dish-machine boosters, convection ovens, ranges, hot boxes, coffee makers, broilers, deep fryers, and ovens at the Illinois Governor's Mansion. Vendor must perform appliance inspections per manufacturer's specifications, conduct operation and safety checks, report defective equipment, and provide preventative maintenance recommendations. Vendor must supply all necessary items for each job and keep the job site clean. Response time for routine service is within 8 hours; emergency service response time is within 1 hour. Vendor must prepare a summary report of all maintenance and inspection activities within 5 business days of completion. A written estimate is required for any work exceeding $500.00. Vendor shall not commence work until a CMS job work authorization order and/or purchase order number is issued.
