Body of Notice: The State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, permits and disposal to remove roofing, envelope and siding, replace roof membrane, seal all penetrations, replace all materials with new. Use a dust control system as not to introduce dust into any other parts of the building. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, materials, disposal, clean-up, licenses, disposal costs, insurance and any travel expenses to complete the work at Bryant Airfield 47427, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska as outlined in the solicitation.
Walkthrough: The contractor is highly recommended to perform a pre-bid walkthrough to understand and familiarize themselves with the project and existing site conditions. The walkthrough scheduled for September 2, 2026, at 10:00am Alaska Time. Interested bidders must register for the pre-bid walkthrough with the Project Manager (PM) a minimum of two (2) days prior to the scheduled walkthrough. If base access is needed, please contact the PM by email at gavin.fairbanks@alaska.gov.
Contractor WILL be limited to TWO (2) individuals per company.

The work includes demolishing and replacing approximately 20,000 sq ft of office roof and 23,000 sq ft of hangar roof with EPDM membrane, replacing any damaged roof decking, installing vapor retarder/air barrier, insulation, and fiberboard, painting parapets and exterior panels, rerouting the roof drain system, removing, storing, and reinstalling mechanical equipment, replacing exhaust fans/vents, replacing all siding of the facility, replacing any damaged brick foundation, cleaning and repainting brick foundation, replacing applicable electrical, painting hangar doors and exterior ladders, repainting exterior windows, doors, and ladders, providing new signage, performing a hazmat survey, and providing as-built drawings.
