The work consists of year-round summer and winter maintenance of the airport facility including state owned equipment, building structures, and roadways located on airport property. The contractor must conduct daily inspections of lighting systems, runway surfaces, taxiways, aprons, roads, segmented circles, wind cones, and drainage; perform snow removal when two inches of snow or one-half inch of slush accumulates; maintain gravel surfaces by grading; clear brush and weeds; remove trash monthly; perform minor building maintenance such as filter replacement and light bulb replacement; and maintain state-owned equipment including greasing, fluid checks, and winterization. The contractor must also coordinate with the airport manager, submit weekly reports, and be available 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
