Region 8 Pollinator Survey Services for the following locations: San Joaquin National Wildlife Refuge, San Luis National Wildlife Refuge, and Merced National Wildlife Refuge.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and supplies to conduct Monarch butterfly habitat and adult butterfly surveys at San Luis NWR Complex (San Luis NWR, San Joaquin NWR, and Merced NWR). Tasks include: project coordination (2-3 meetings per season); Milkweed and Blooming Plant Surveys (IMMP Activity 1, Option A) at each site 4 times per field season; Adult Monarch and other butterfly surveys (IMMP Activity 3) at each site 8 times per field season; data entry into the IMMP Portal and iNaturalist; classification of survey sites by habitat quality (High, Medium, Low); and delivery of summary reports. The contract spans two field seasons (2027 and 2028) with a firm-fixed-price type contract.
